Alan Wake’s American Nightmare Screenshots.
These new screenshots show of the new environment that Alan Wake will have to fight off Mr Scratches twisted creations (like…spiders). A new weapon in shown in one screenshot, which may mean that Wake will have to improvise at times using unconventional weapons. They also show the more score based gameplay, competing with friends to get high scores isn’t the most scary thing I can think of, it is an arcade title and but I hope that this is just an optional mode.
Alan Wake’s American Nightmare will hit the Xbox Live Arcade on February 22 for 1200 Microsoft Points.

NEW screens and art from Alan Wake’s American Nightmare, which is looking to take Alan Wake in a crazy new direction. If Alan Wake was Remedy’s take on Stephen King and Twin Peaks, then American Nightmare is their love letter to Tarintino’s From Dusk till Dawn.

Have writer’s block? Alan Wake suggests firing upon public servants to get the creative juices flowing.

Rumor: Alan Wake 2 Is For The Next Xbox
Remedy, the developer behind the atmospheric action/horror title Alan Wake, is reportedly hard at work on the sequel. The catch? It isn’t even for the current console generation…if you believe the rumors.
According to a report from CVG, the latest issue of Xbox World hints that Remedy (along with Lionhead, Rare, and Turn 10) has started working on the next wave of Microsoft hardware, saying: “We hear a number of Microsoft-friendly developers are hard at work on prepping next gen games as we speak. Could this be the reason why Remedy are so quiet about Alan Wake 2? (Yes).”
Remedy has certainly expressed the desire to work on more Alan Wake, and no one should be surprised that Microsoft wants some studios producing next-gen titles. Even so, keep this info filed squarely in the “rumor” category for the time being.
